bonjour
I was named after a yoghurt ad. Petit Miam, little french boy called Jerome, you might know the one. My parents were watching the TV one night, saw that ad and thought hey, now that’s a nice name. You could post rationalise that I was destined to be in advertising, but I think they just like yoghurt.
After a few short careers of being a printing apprentice, freelance dishwasher and forklift driver, I decided to have a go at advertising. I graduated from RMIT Melbourne with a Bachelor of Communication and a distinction frustratingly close to high, a D&AD New Blood Awards Pencil and 40k retro advertising fans on Adrec.
While art direction pays my bills, I like to keep active across the entire creative process, regularly exercising copywriting on a freelance and hobby basis.
I’m always down for a chat and a brew, be it coffee or a bev.
